Kyle Myers serves as Chief Executive Officer at Pneuma Capital Group and its subsidiary, Morningside Asset Management. Prior to forming Pneuma, Mr. Myers was a Shareholder at StoneRidge Investment Partners, where in his role as Director, Business Development and Senior Equity Product Specialist, he worked jointly with the firms C-Suite executives to grow the firm from $160 Million in assets under management (AUM) to a combined $2.5 Billion in AUM in just under six years. Mr. Myers led the firm’s business development, investor relations and client acquisition efforts. He also created, directed and held oversight of the firms marketing implementation and market intelligence initiatives. Mr. Myers served on the firms Executive Committee, Global Equity Investment Strategy, Equity Product Development, and Global Strategic Acquisition Committees. Prior to joining StoneRidge, Mr. Myers worked at First Genesis Financial Group’s Asset Management Division, a $1.8 Billion in assets under advisement group, as senior vice president of Business and Product Development working directly with the CEO.
Mr. Myers received his B.S. in Theology & Christian Leadership from Philadelphia Biblical University and earned his M.S. of Organizational Development and Leadership from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has matriculated towards his M.S. in Investment Management with a focus on the CFA and FRM designations at Fox School of Business at Temple University. Mr. Myers serves as president of National Association of Securities Professionals (NASP) Philadelphia Chapter, and is a board member to Philadelphia’s 17 Days of Fashion, a non-profit with a focus on Community, Charity and Couture.

Jawanza Hughes serves as Chief Investment Officer with Pneuma Capital Group and serves as a small cap value co-portfolio manager at Morningside Asset Management, A Pneuma Capital Group Company. Prior to joining Morningside, he was a founding member of Channing Capital Management and a Portfolio Manager on the Mid, All and Large Cap Value products. He also was a member of the three-person team that launched Channing's Small Cap Value product. Jawanza was formerly with Profit Investment Management where he was a senior research analyst covering multiple industries. Prior to joining Profit Investment Management, he was a research analyst with Ariel Capital Management and covered the Health Care and Environmental Services sectors for its Small and Mid Cap Value products. His previous experience includes three years at J.P. Morgan & Co. as an investment banking financial analyst in the Financial Institutions Group primarily focused on the asset management industry. Jawanza also was an investment banking financial analyst with Kidder, Peabody & Co. Jawanza earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Finance from Morehouse College (magna cum laude). He also is Board Chair and President of the John Howard Association of Illinois.
